Today JoShawn’s breathing tubes were removed! He is breathing well on his own, responsive to voices, moves his limbs, squeezes your hands and this is just the beginning in Jesus’ name. He is moving closer to a complete and total recovery and all glory belongs to God. Here are the latest pics with his mom!

Our handsome boy
On January 10, 2005 JoShawn Thomas burst upon the scene, from the beginning we knew what a blessing God had bestowed on us.
JoShawn with his baby sister
JoShawn and his cousins
Precocious, full of energy, exciting, intelligent, loving, caring and humorous are a few of the words that come to mind when describing JoShawn. He is the pride of his family and mother, Shatoree’s heart and a blessing to all who meet him.

At a picnic
JoShawn loves playing with his cousins, Brajahn, Brittani, Briyanna and especially Brandin.
He likes McDonald's, Sponge Bob, Iron Man, Superman, Ben 10 and Spider Man and going to play at the park.
We are so thankful to have JoShawn in our lives especially since on October 30, 2009 he was run over by a car. We are so grateful to God that HE has spared JoShawn and is returning our little boy back to us. He is currently stable but in critical condition at University Hospital in San Antonio, TX.

On Friday, October 30, 2009 JoShawn was walking hand and hand with his mother Shatoree as she held his baby sister in one arm and his hand in the other. He was excited because he was having a party and was carrying cookies to share with his class. Approximately at 7:40 in the morning, JoShawn and his family were struck by a car, and JoShawn was critically injured. By the grace of God, a quick thinking parent went to his car and grabbed a carjack to lift the car off JoShawn while they waited for the paramedics to arrive.

We are praying for the driver and their family and ask you pray as well.
Now JoShawn is thriving at the hospital, God is healing his body and we can't wait to introduce to you the little boy we love so much that words can not express!
Soon he will be back on the field in Jesus' name!
The purpose of this blog spot is to track JoShawn's progress as the Lord miraculously heals him, thank all of you for your prayers and support and we welcome your testimonies and personal stories of healing!
